Alev Alp Esen graduated from Boğaziçi University and started her career at Garanti Bank. Having worked in many departments of Garanti Bank, including overseas branches, Alp Esen continued her career at Thomson Reuters. After working as a consultant, sales representative and sales manager in Risk Management Solutions at Thomson Reuters covering Türkiye and the region, she was appointed as Türkiye Country Manager of Misys (now Finastra), a global leader in financial software solutions. In addition to her role as Country Manager at Misys, she also acted as regional sales manager covering Turkey, Israel and Romania. In 2013, realizing that the finance sector was advancing faster hand in hand with the technology industry, she decided to make a career change to technology industry and established the first local organization of the US-based technology company Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). The company merged with HPE Enterprise Services in 2017, forming a new organization under the umbrella of DXC Technology. Alp Esen took part in this new organization as the country manager and continued to serve global and local customers in Türkiye in the field of Information Technologies. She joined Refinitiv as of November 2020, with the ambition to contribute more to the finance industry with her knowledge on information technologies and innovation. She is currently working as Türkiye Country Manager and Sales Director for Türkiye, Greece and CIS Countries at Refinitiv, an LSEG business.

Alparslan has been with the Trive Investment Group as Europe Region Senior Director since February 2022. Earlier, he held various positions at Demir Investment, a prominent investment company in Turkey, between 1993 and 2001. During 2001-2015, he served as the Assistant Secretary General at the self-regulatory organization; Turkish Capital Markets Association (TCMA). Later, he moved to Ekspres Invest, a full-service investment company, as the Executive Vice President. Between 2019 and 2022, he served as the Vice President of Securities Services at Citi Turkey.
During his tenure at the TCMA, he assumed several roles at international bodies, such as the Chairman of International Forum for Investor Education; Chairman of the Emerging Markets Committee and Advisory Committee Member at the International Council of Securities Associations; Chairman of the Affiliate Members’ Committee of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges; and Chairman and Founding Advisory Committee Member of the Asia Forum for Investor Education.
After graduating from the Izmir Science High School, Mr. Budak received his BA degree in Business Administration from the Bosphorus University and MSc degree in Money, Banking & Finance from the University of Birmingham in the UK. Currently, he continues his PhD Program in Finance at Yildiz Technical University.

Attila Köksal graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Boğaziçi University in 1983 and received an MBA degree from Philadelphia Drexel University in 1985. He began his investment banking career at the Center for International Financial Research Inc. in Princeton, NJ. Throughout his career, he held managerial positions in a number of Turkish banks, brokerage houses and asset management companies. Mr. Köksal served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Capital Markets Association between 2011 and 2014. He also held board positions at the Turkish stock exchange (Borsa İstanbul) and at the derivatives exchange of Turkey (VOB A.Ş.). He also served six years on the global board of the CFA Institute. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Turkish Digital Technologies A.Ş., a subsidiary of Turkish Bank, Türk Sigorta and WWF Turkey. He has been the Chairman of the Board of the Financial Literacy and Inclusion Association (FODER) since April 2019. Mr. Köksal designed and co-authored two books under the "Geleceğe Yatırım – Investing for the Future" series. These books aim to educate teenagers and families on savings and investments, respectively. His latest book, "Parasal Konularda Yaptığımız Hatalar – What We Do Wrong On Monetary Matters" depicts the negative effects of the behavioral biases and lack of financial literacy on our financial decisions. Mr. Köksal designs and delivers courses and lectures on investments, financial advisory and asset management. He has been on the advisory board of the Masters in Finance program at Sabancı University since 2011. He also teaches a Behavioral Finance course at Sabancı University.

B. Aylin Alagöz graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Environmental Engineering in 2001. Having a professional career of nearly 20 years; B. Aylin Alagöz is the individual author or the member of the author team of nearly 50 publications including articles, technical reports, reviews, etc. in national and international peer-reviewed and sectoral journals and conferences.

Dr. Doğaner started her 39-year capital market career at the Capital Markets Board of Turkey and served there for 8 years. Subsequently, she transferred to the private sector and held senior positions as General Manager and Member of The Board of Directors in the leading investment institutions of the sector. As of May 2018, she has started to take part in independent board of directors in different companies in order to offer her knowledge and experience to the different sectors to help in our country’s economic development. Currently, she is an independent board member of Özak Real Estate Investment Trust, a company that one of the biggest real estate investment company of Turkey; and Piramit Securities Incorporated, a company that leads in the areas of algorithmic and high frequency transactions. Meanwhile, she also provides project-based consultancy and corporate finance services in various sectors. She is a lecturer of OSTİM Technical University.
As a businesswoman, who has been taking active roles in various professional and vocational NGOs throughout her career, Doğaner serves as the Chairman of the Real Estate Investment Trust (GYO) Committee in GYODER. Since 2009, she has been working in TUSIAD’s Capital Markets Work Group. Also, since 2009, she has been a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) Economic Advisory Committee, which meets regularly every month with the participation of the Chairman of the ITO and the members of the Board of Directors.
Doğaner served as a member of the ISE (IMKB) Board of Directors during the years 2007-2011, and as a member of the Supervisory Board of Takasbank during the years 1996-2010. Between 2014 and 2018, Doğaner served as the Deputy Chairman of TSPB’s Board of Directors and she served as a member of the board of directors of the Central Registry Agency (MKK) between March 2014 and May 2018, representing TSPB.

He started his career in 2004 at GIMA A.S., and after a year he switched to the banking and financial markets industry with a new role at Citibank Turkey. Mr. Iliris spent 6 years of his 7 years’ stint at Citibank by taking management responsibilities in various functions (incl. Asistant Manager of Operations) at the Securities and Funds Services Custody Operations Department and worked as Manager of Operations for a year at the Retail Banking Collection Department. In 2012 he returned to the capital and financial markets industry at the Central Securities Depository of Turkey (MKK) by managing the International Relations and Corporate Communications division for the next 6 years. Pursuant to a divisional merger in 2019-2020 with MKK’s Investor Services, Mr. Iliris was promoted to be Director of the Investor and Corporate Governance Services Department on 1 September 2020. His responsibilities cover management of International Relations, Public Disclosure Platform (PDP) Operations, e-Company applications and Investor Services (MIM and e-Investor) divisions. Mr. Iliris furthermore leads global marketing and sale of the data and technology products (notably the Electronic General Meeting System: e-GEM) that are developed in-house at MKK’s R&D center.

He graduated from Gaziantep High School in 1993 and Hacettepe University, the Department of Finance in 1997. He started his career in 1998 as an Assistant Bank Examiner. He became a Bank Examiner in 2002 and a Senior Bank Examiner in 2008. He completed his master's degree on Financial Economics at Boston University in 2007. He completed his Ph.D. in banking regarding financial stability and banking regulation at Marmara University in 2012. He still works as an examiner in charge responsible for on-site supervision of banks at the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency of Türkiye. He conducts academic studies on money, banking and financial regulations, and has published books and articles on these subjects. He also shoots short amateur documentaries with the theme of the Anatolian steppe and he conducts interviews with local people as part of his oral history archive. He writes short stories based on local oral culture, narratives and memoirs of interviewees. He has four storybooks published.

Professor Guler Aras is an academic, a civil society leader, and a researcher who leads key studies on finance, corporate governance, corporate sustainability, and integrated reporting. She is a professor of Finance and Accounting at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, where she served as the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Dean of the Graduate School for many years. She spent a year as a visiting professor at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in Washington DC. She has founded the Center for Finance Governance and Sustainability (CFGS) and she also started the ground-breaking initiative on Integrated Reporting Association Turkey (ERTA), where she is still founding chair. Professor Aras is the author of more than 25 international books. She contributed to more than 300 articles in international journals and conferences and carried out numerous granted international projects. She is also the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Capital Market Studies, and Editor of Routledge’s Finance Governance and Sustainability Book Series. Professor Aras is the founder and board member of numerous national and international professional and academic organizations and a member of the Accountancy Europe Corporate Governance Task Force. She has spoken extensively at professional and academic conferences and has served as a consultant to several governmental and commercial organizations such as Minister of Development, Minister of Finance, Undersecretary of Treasury, and Minister of Labour and Social Security Employment in Turkey. She also serves as a board member of Turkish Capital Markets Association. Professor Aras writes a newspaper column. She is the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) Ambassador and known as the ambassador of governance, sustainability and focuses on the education of the next generation of academics and business leaders who could promote sustainable solutions for societal and corporate challenges. She has been crowned one of the most inspirational women in Turkey for 2020.

Hakan Yıldız, the founder, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the first share based crowdfunding platform of Turkey with a license from Capital Market Board was born in 1972 in Kayseri. After completing his formal education in Kayseri he studied Tourism Management at Karadeniz Technical University and Business Management at Anadolu University. Mr Yıldız founded his first venture at the age of 16 and his first company at 23, and he had been involved in numerous business activities with ventures, in investments and in management.
Mr Yıldız worked with Prime Ministry Directorate of Privatisation Administration between the years 2003 and 2009 and served as an administrator for Ataköy Marina, Turkish Airlines and Erdemir, Inc. He served for TR Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and served as the Assistant General Manager for Eltemtek, Inc. simultaneously between the years 2009 to 2016. He left public service in 2016 and founded Global Markets Turkey and worked as a consultant for a period for a global IT firm based in Norway.
Mr Yıldız is a licensed Angel Investor and has been working as the Manager of Reinvest Angel Investors Network accredited by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and also manages fonbulucu Venture Capital Investment Fund. He has been undertaking projects on subjects such as the access of ventures to funds and new generation investment tools since 2016 and has written various articles on Entrepreneurship and Crowdfunding. In addition, he is also working as the Elected Crowdfunding Advisor for UNDP.

She started her profession in Pamukbank (merged with Halkbank in 2002) in 1991 as Dealer in Treasury. She left Pamukbank as of end-1993 to join Borsa Istanbul (formerly named Istanbul Stock Exchange-ISE) and she worked in Listing, International Market and Risk Management Departments in various levels between 1993 and 2011. She was also member of the study group on the establishment of the Foreign Securities Market for depository receipts and Eurobonds and the Futures and Options Market. She left ISE and joined Takasbank, the İstanbul Settlement and Custody Inc. as of end-2011. She served as director in charge of foreign affairs and foreign securities, derivatives, energy and commodity clearing and settlement operations in Takasbank between 2012 and 2019/04. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Economics of Marmara University in 1994, and his master’s degree on capital markets from Marmara University Institute of Banking and Insurance, Mr. Özgür Uysal completed the Ph.D. program on Financial Banking at Kadir Has University Institute of Social Sciences. Dr. Uysal currently gives lectures on capital markets at several private universities.
Dr. Uysal started his professional life in 1994 as an assistant auditor at the ISE Settlement and Custody Bank (Takasbank). After working in the Accounting and Reports, Credits, and Internal Control Departments as a manager, he took office in 2005 as an assistant manager in the Risk Management and Audit department at Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu A.Ş. (MKK). He managed the Reporting, Trade Repository, International Relations, Corporate Communications and Strategic Planning and Research departments. Dr. Uysal is currently the Director of the Trade Repository at MKK. After graduating from Management Engineering Programme of Istanbul Technical University, Tayfun Özkan also completed his master’s and PhD degrees. Part of his PhD thesis titled “Performance Analysis of Turkish Mutual and Pension Funds (210-2019)” is published as book abroad.
He started his career as an internal auditor in Garanti Bank in 1995 and played an active role in the first audit of Garanti Bank Moscow, the establishment of management information systems of the bank, the first audit of the London representative office, and the merger with Ottoman Bank. In 2002, he set up an asset management company in London and a hedge fund in the Cayman Islands for Dogus Group, the then major shareholder of Garanti Bank. In 2004, he established the compliance function in Garanti Bank Luxembourg Branch. He removed to Istanbul in 2008 to establish the middle and back office of Garanti Bank’s project and acquisitions finance business.
He left Garanti Bank in 2011 after 16 years of service to take part as director of investments in the establishment of Gozde Private Equity Investment Trust, which would be the leading investment trust of the country in the following three years.
In 2015, he was transferred to Kuwait Turk Participation Bank with the project to set up an asset management company and worked as the founding CEO and Board Member of KT Asset Management, which, under his leadership, ranked 10th. in three years among 50+ asset managers in terms of assets under management.
He then was transferred to Turkish Red Crescent in April 2019 to establish an asset management company. He worked as a founding Board Member in the asset management company and also served as the CFO of Turkish Red Crescent.
In February 2021, he joined the foundation of Nurol Asset Management Co. as an active Board Member.
